Greetings,

I have a MAC and so far I've come up empty handed. I do have a Windows driven laptop, but I don't care much for it... I'm seek of Microsoft... Anywho, these are the features I care about only:

1. MAC preferrably
2. If I have a block with 4 pieces for example and I have 4 different fabrics, I want the software to show me every possible configuration in a couple of keystrokes. Doesn't have to be a quilting software.
3. Cheap, cheap, cheap... free

Thank you

I know of nothing for a MAC. I'm like you I won't contaminate my MAC with Bill Gate's Folly. I do have a separate PC that I use for EQ6 to design quilts and the software to run embroidery on my Bernina. I would recommend EQ6 highly with the exception of the cost, about $150. It's a very comprehensive program and if you search the board you'll find a boatload of information on the software.

I only have PC's and I'm not even a fan of Bill Gates!

With that being said here are a few options

The PCQuilt for Macs is only about $35 so this site said and there is a demo available.

Ah come on Mr Gates made computers affordable for the masses, and he does a lot of good with the money he has made. Apple has a good operating system, two bad they can't make the two more compatible

Thanks for the suggestions :)

Oh, and by the way, I'm sick of Microsoft... it seems I can't spell. PC's used to be my bread and butter... as soon as I (happily) left the IT field, I went with a MAC and will never go back... I have not seen another blue screen :P unless I made it myself. ;)

UNIX is wayyyyy better

Check out Quilt Pro for Macintosh. It runs about $70 online. It looks pretty user friendly. I just ordered it.
