I found this pattern today in the book called Skip the Borders. I searched all day today in quilt stores and Joann's to find the colors in this quilt, glad it was Mothers Day, lol. Can someone please help. The colors are exactly what I want.

The author has a great website and blog. The fabric she used in all her patterns are listed in her blog posts. She is a member here too. She's very accessible. http://www.jaybirdquilts.com/

I'm pretty sure it's Fresh Cottons designed by Fig Tree quilts for Moda.
It's the same fabric that's in my avatar. It's an old collection so it might be difficult to find the exact line. Try Etsy or Ebay. Otherwise keep checking Fig Tree quilts. Their collection seem to be very similar. |
This is what I love about this Board-its like having a magic wand:thumbup:

Found this but I think she just collected different fabrics (no kit) to make this

Definitely something Moda. It also have a little bit the feel of Paris Flea market.

You would probably be safe with just about any Fig Tree fabric collection, the designer doesn't seem to stray too far from those wonderful warm colors. I love her fabrics.

Usually the book says who the quilter is and has her contact. Often if you need to contact some one, try to Google them. If they have an email or website, or have been mentioned on any website you can find them. But as I'm looking thru some of the posts. I see BellaBoo has the link for the quilter.

Love those colors...

Agood site for buying fabric by color is www.hawthornethreads.com. You point at the color you want and pages of fabrics in that color will open. Just in case you can't find your particular fabric. By the way, you'll find a book "Fig Tree Vintage Sewing" at Martingales - a PDF version. Many lovely patterns using these colors.

Now that you know the name of the fabric line you can so a search at www.quiltshops.com and display as thumbnails, that way you can find shops that have the specific fabrics in stock.
