Hancock Fabrics has a few different kinds. You might want to take a look there.

Use your Joann's coupon or buy them when they have their quilting notions half off. My paper-piecing teacher highly recommended these pins for paper-piecing. Liked them so much that I have switched completely over to them. Worth the money.

If you look at your local Quilt Shop in the quilting section, you will probably find quilter's pins. I perfer the ones with the flat flower heads over the round ball heads. They don't make a bump when you pin 2 pieces of fabric together. The flat pins were also recommended for a Stack & Whack class I took. You need the flat ones so that when you do your cutting with the ruler, the ruler lays flat over them. Someone also posted here that they now make round head glow in the dark pins. Nifty!

Clotilde has a large variety of pins. I have gotten them for years there.

They also have a catalog you can get from them on request.

I have used these pins before and got them at Walmart. I really like them a lot. You maybe get them at Joannes or a local LQS.

IBC pins have glass heads. They are the ones that I use a lot. For more delicate work I use the clover 'patchwork' pins that are very fine, but bend easily.
