Looking for suggestions
Hello everyone, I'm asking for your suggestions on a quilt pattern. It will be a high school graduation present for my grandson. I'd like the pattern to be about 60"X84", but I could probably adjust size. I want to use 3 main colors of their school (white, Navy Blue
columbia blue and gray I put the cart before the horse and purchased fabrics with those colors in small print (no flowers). I will have to pick a pattern that highlights the main colors and use the other fabric as "fillers". Any patterns that you think would be good? I'm thinking since he is male, geometric, mazes, etc....but instead of searching thru pinterest, etc. I thought I'd tap into your brains and see what you suggest. Thanks for your help. I've got to get started soon. (Did I say I was making multiples of the quilt for his good friends?)! Will be busy, but I figure once I get the pattern I want, the rest will be a "breeze"! |
testing to see if this works. Please ignore. Thanks!

Have you looked at the Labyrinth Walk by Debbie Maddy?

thank you for the suggestion. It is on my list now. (Like that you can make it in different sizes).

This is a link to A Gentleman's Agreement. I think it looks masculine. |
I feel that whatever pattern you choose the fabrics do make it masculine. What about Hunter's Star pattern?

I love that Gentleman's Agreement--and think that the use of the ombre fabric is what really makes it--have seen pics of it in several different colorways.
