Hi:
I'm looking for a quilt block called Pine Tree or Tree of Paradise. It has 5 sections that make up the tree. Here's hoping someone out there has info on where I can find this block. Thanks for looking |

Great, glad to hear you saw my note. Are you around Material Possessions? They changed their location and name but it's still one of my favorite shops.

Thank you for your help. The site is terrific and such a wonderful tool however it doesn't have the block I'm looking for.
If you were to draw a large triangle and divide it in sections of about 1-1/2" that would be the tree I'm looking for. I saw this in an old book"Quilts An American Heritage by Terri Zegart" on page 106. It is referred to as Pine Tree, or Tree of Paradisw, was one of the earliest American quilt patterns to reflect the importance of trees in the development of this land. Thank you again for your input. Jan |
Here's another one, maybe closer to what you want?

Jan, Amazon.com has that book you mentioned for sale as low as 22 cents.

Thanks for the info but I have the book. I want the pattern to make a quiltthat is shown in the book. It's a rather simple tree but I haven't found the pattern anywhere.
