I have this same bowl and love it. But I don't have these pins...where did you find them? They are so pretty :)

I got my pin dish from a DIY shop. It was intended for workmen to put screws etc in to keep them in one place.

I watched Eleanor Burns July 2015 Block Party video yesterday and they had one on it. I just checked and it is in the Quilt In A Day store online.

I love that idea of glueing magnets to a pretty china dish.....I think I'll trip to goodwill and check out some pretty old china dishes....uh, wait, I can just go into my dining room and get some out of there!!

Harbor Freight has several sizes. I have 3 different sizes. Often, HF has coupons that have advertise with any purchase, the bowl is free.

Just keep the bowl away from your pc!! When studying IT at TAFE (Tertiary Advanced Further Education) we learned not to put magnets on our pcs because they could blow the hard drives, which some people did frequently!!

I got mine at Harbour Freight and I believe it was either free with a cpn or $1. About a year and a half ago.

Be careful with the magnetic pin cushions they are not supposed to be close to an embroidery machine.
