I need to get replacement needles for my Household treadle machine. I only have the one needle that came with it. It's a scant 1 3/4 long (44 mm) and the side with the flat shank is grooved and pierced by the eye. The needles for my more modern machines are shorter than this one. Anybody got any ideas where I can find replacements?

I use regular needles in mine, it doesn't sound like yours are any different, have you compared them to the needle for another machine?

Thanks for all the help. I found some and ordered them from eBay. They're were pricey compared to modern needles, but a definate necessity!!!
