Looking for a Tute on circles.
I saw a tute about sewin' a circle on a background& sewin' it down. Then somehow cuttin' the background & flippin' the circle. In my memory it was done by CJMomma. I can't find it a'tall. Can ya'll help me? I am sure am missin' a step.

If it was a actual tutorial that hasn't been used in a while it might be in tutorial archives. If it was inserted into a post you can use the search feature and see if you can find it. Maybe the person who posted it will direct you to it also.

sew your fabric circle right side down on a backing fabric or non-fusible interfacing.... snip a slit in the center of the interfacing only in the center of the circle and turn right side out through that hole.....press....great circle done !!!

My favorite way of sewing a circle (like the center of a Dresden Plate) is to draw a circle on fusible web (on non fusible side), place fusible side next to pretty side of fabric, stitch with a short stitch length on drawn circle line, use pinking shears to trim 1/8" around stitching, cut a small slit in the fusible, turn right side out. Now place fusible side down on background fabric with pretty side of circle fabric facing up. Using hot iron, heat set the circle to background fabric, then I like using the blanket stitch and sew around the circle. (all machine stitching)
