looking for u-tube on how to piece a top on point

I would love to find a u-tube that shows step by step how to piece a top on point. I have searched without any luck.
Would you guys please help me out.
Thanks

I may be wrong, but I think you just piece a block normally and then turn it on point. Are you talking about setting the blocks on point? Maybe goggle "setting blocks on point".

I don't have a you tube link for you. Although I bet Mr. Google does!

However, it really is no different than piecing a regular bunch of square blocks.
The difference being is that you are turning them a quarter turn.
The easiest way is to lay them out on your design wall, bed, floor etc.
You'll be sewing all straight rows, except each row gets longer.
Then you do your cross rows to join those first rows all together.
Square up and border just the same as normal.

Not a video, but here are some good instructions, along with a chart on sizes for common blocks:

I agree with the previous posters. Once you've cut the setting triangles, it's no different from assembling a regular quilt top.
I went to youtube, searched on "setting blocks on point" and got several hits. Here's one:

Or if you're hesitant on cutting the triangles, just sew in full squares and cut them off later. Just be sure to have the 1/4" seam allowances factored in, with whichever way you do it.
