The Lorax by Dr. Seuss

I just received the Lorax panel from Hawthornes Threads and how cute it is. I need your help as I don't have little ones on our family so am not familiar with the book. Can you tell me what order the 10 blocks should go in? I don't think just how they are arranged on the panel is necessarily correct.

If you don't get the info here, my suggestion is to make a trip to the library and check out the book--gives you a chance to look and compare more easily.

I too am unfamiliar with the book but this is how the quilt with the panel is put together. . . . http://www.robertkaufman.com/quiltin...for_the_trees/

Is the panel meant to be a book that you put together? if it is, you'll find page numbers somewhere on each square.

If you check out the link, both the quilts show the blocks in different places in the quilt. I also googled the book title & came up with this ebook, but no pictures. http://ebookbrowse.com/dr-seuss-the-lorax-pdf-d75803711

Thanks for your replies, this is not a fabric book, just a quilt. Auntpiggylpn, that is exactly what I wanted and I didn't know there was a pattern for it. I think it is just so cute.

Sammyg, just fyi that link, while very cute, is not actually in order as far as the story itself is concerned. If you really want the panels in order, PM me, I have the book (huge Dr. Seuss fan) and will give you the correct order. Otherwise, I think a random placement is just fine the Kaufman pattern is very cute - it will not detract at all IMHO. Enjoy!

It is such a wonderful story "A Thneed's a fine something that everyone needs!" :D
