Lost my Cotton Picker

I had a tool called the cotton picker. It was like a small mitten that fit over to the top of my hand and was rough. It would pick up those loose threads on a top easily. I am so sad because it has disappeared. I think when I had some friends over to quilt somehow it was accidentally pushed from the table into the trash can. I can't remember where I bought it, but I'm sure it was at a quilt shop that I visited when travelling.

My question is, does anyone know of a comparable product easily available? I know many use the sticky rollers, and I have one of those but I don't like it as well.

Any suggestions?

Cheryl

Maybe a pet shop as my DD has something similar they use for dog hair?
Is this what you mean?

check out Superior Threads. I believe I saw some in the show room the other day.

Gardening gloves with those little rubber nubbies on them do the same thing. I use one of those to help get rid of pet hair on quilts. I have a whole arsenal of those kinds of tools. Sticky tape rollers, a damp wash cloth, pet hair sponge, they all work in varying degrees.

Guess I will try all the suggestions. The shipping was almost twice of what the cost of the item! Considering it weighs nothing at all.....just saying!

Would those exfoliating gloves you see in the beauty dept. work? They are rough and scratchy!

I use the lint rollers and micro fiber rags are great too! The ones for scrubbing tile. Just run it lightly across.

I have two seam rippers with rubber on the handle part. It's there to serve that purpose. That way you only need one tool to accomplish the whole thing.
