You probably used it for a different project because it was the perfect shade of green. With me its pink fabric that goes awol. My kitties steal anything pink!

That's funny!

not if you're the one with the mustache!

Oh how true. I hear she has been exchanging body parts also!

I lost a pattern I bought to make scrubs for my son. Looked high and low lol then Saturday we are backing out of the driveway and look at the sewing room window it had fallen between the venetian blind and the window. I hope yours turns up too.

You don't happen to have a ferret, do you?

My daughter found half of her house under her bed. That's where the ferret kept his stash.

Lost black fabric bought new black fabric after losing my mind looking for it. Now I can't remember what I was going to use it for!!!!!

Been there, done that so many times I've lost count. You haven't lost your mind, just misplaced the fabric. I've been trying an experiment: When I have a pattern/quilt/etc. that I want to make I try to put the magazine/pattern and fabric together in one large zip-lock bag, I'll let you know how it turns out, although I recently did this with a quilt for my sister's great granddaughter that we were going to make together. Unfortunately, she passed away before we got started on it. Now, 18 months later I managed to finish the quilt top. It was hard, but it was also cathartic as well, with some healing along the way on the loss of my sister and my best friend. I spoke with my niece last night for a backing suggestion, and she said anythink pink as that's Cameron's favorite color. Good thing I called, as I was going to use another color, but the quilt is beautiful and I know she and her mother will treasure it. PS: If nothing else, pray to St. Anthony the patron saint of lost things, I pray to him often.

I lost 2 large pieces of bright colored fabrics. They were not stored together and did not go together. I have been looking for a month now. It is maddening!!!!! I forgot St. Anthony, I will let you know if he finds it for me.

Now this I can really relate to. I swear at times I have "Old Timer's, as well as brain cramps" when it comes to fabric. It's especially challenging since we moved 9 months and even though I tried to label all the plastic totes, I still have to search at times. Good luck.

So good to hear I'm not alone. Went to the doctor last week, of course he asked how I'm feeling, how is this or that medicine working for you? as he was looking at my medicine chart, me I say fine no adverse side affects that I know of. He laughs, say probably not since you haven't ordered any of your medicine in 5 months. I have to personally request them every month. Time does fly.
