lost my ruler to make braid quilts, it's about 4 x 7 inches
I misplaced my ruler for making braid table runners, can't remember where I bought it, couldn't find anything on the internet that big. Does anyone know where I can buy one? It's just like the binding tool only bigger bigger.
Thank you. |
I never saw such a ruler before. I did a Google search but not sure if this ruler is there:

Jenny from Missouri Star uses one in this video, but couldn't see if the one in her shop is the same size.

Is it the Binding Tool ruler?
|
I have the binding tool it's definitely not 4 x 7", I am not looking at it right now but I know it's about 2 1/2 wide maybe the length is the right size but definitely not the width. I am getting ready to cut my braid quilt and am just using 2 rulers side by side.

On the Missouri Quilt Company video, she is using a half hex ruler:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Dn_4vTxwfk The company sells the half hex ruler in two different sizes. Maybe one of them is yours? Doesn't really look like the binding tool, though. https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop...half+hex+ruler Edit: And here is a link to the video where Jenny uses the binding tool (2.5" wide) to make a friendship braid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpHAp_pyVXQ |
it looks just like the binding ruler only larger
I'm going to use the half hexi ruler until I come across mine thank you everyone |
I have one that came with a braid pattern from Eleanor Burns. is that the one you are looking for?

I found a ruler in the bottom of a box someone gave the Extension Office for the quilting groups, it is by Dritz and is 4" x 11" and shaped like the binding tool. I have found it very useful since I acquired it.
