i entered 4 quilts at the fair this year- along with a few wool projects- a wool felted purse- a little boiled wool child jacket= and a penny rug.

the 4 quilts- 2 took first place blue ribbons- One of these won the viewers choice award- the second one only missed the viewers choice by 2 votes! a 3rd on took a second place and the 4th a 3rd place!
out of the wool's the purse and jacket both took 1st place- the penny rug took a second !
i was blown away when i walked through the door of the community center an hour ago to collect my entries!
the quilt that was a close second to the viewers choice is my favorite- but i'm happy the other one took the ribbon- the fair donates $50 to the local Manna (food bank) in my name for winning the viewers choice- which i think is pretty cool!
anyhow- guess i should take pictures of them now...maybe i will get that done- incentive ya know---i'm so bad about taking pictures--
actually i think the one that took the viewers choice has been photographed----hmmm
anyhow- had to boast a little ;)
