I bought the one that makes flower shaped yo-yo's. That was a lot of fun also.

Check out this adorable quilt with a few yoyo's used. Might have to put this one on my to do list. http://www.freequiltpatterns.info/qu...e-patterns.htm

I made a bias tape "vine" and put it on the outside border of my quilt and used the yo yo's as the "flowers" bunched and along the outer edge. I have all the sizes and made groupings that I thought really completed the quilt. I love those yo yo makers-next purchase is the butterfly ones and flower ones. Somewhere the quilt top I made is posted on here.

Someone on this board made a flag table runner out of yo-yos for July 4th. It was great! A cute idea I saw was.. put two black yo yo's together with 4 strips of black string between them, sew on small buttons for eyes and hang with monofilament thread for Halloween spiders. How about a row on a plain background block for caterpillers on a child's quilt?

I've never heard of this term before, but looked at some of the pictures -- what a cute idea!
