the pencil is a Fonns & Porter and I bought it at JoAnns. It comes with about 10 refills. love it!

JCL I agree with you wholeheartedly. Bought it from Connecting Threads on sale and the white mechanical pencil is my best buy of the year. I struggled making my black & brown quilt as you go sampler quilt - the white pencils just didn't work well. Things began to speed up once I got the mechanical pencil. Makes a nice relatively fine line.

my favorite notion: all of them! i'm forever picking up a new ruler or something that i will 'eventually use'. my current search is for the 'fork pins' that you use where your seams meet that hold down both sides of the seam (i'm sure that's clear as mud!). great question! patty |
