LQS Sale

I'm a person that does not have a stash of fabric and really don't want one as I only purchase for each quilt that is being made, but today when I went into our LQS they were having a great sale. Picked up 120+ yards of fabric for $1.00 a yard. Thought my hubby would be upset with me for buying so much but he asked if that was all that I got. Told him I needed to leave some for other shoppers. I never find anything like this in something that I can use. Now to sort through it and see what will work in my 2013 quilts that are being planned.

you are one lucky quilter to find such a great bargain!! My DH would have hitched the trailer to my SUV and stood in the cutting line while I debated over which bolts to buy. He loves to see the finished product and it sounds like your hubby also supports you in this great hobby

You sure were lucky. There is no LQS around here and I never find anything for $1.00 a yard.

Another great place is Goodwill & thrift stores -- I spent over $300 the last visit I made, but wow, did I buy fabric! Sure beats $12-$15 a yard, doesn't it??

Do they have a website?

Wow what a great deal!

I am a happy camper when I find quilting fabric for $5.00 a metre.

That's great. I never see any for $1.00 yd or even 5.00. Have fun with it all. Sue

If My LQS would have that kind of sale, I will sell what I have and buy more. Great find.

The store is located in Lawrenceburg and no they do not have a website yet. They have only been open a few months and wanted to move out some of their older fabrics to make room for the new. Hope they do this often when they change seasons.

That is worth a trip for sure! Just paint me GREEN!

How could you pass it up at $1.00/yard. Sounds like a great investment to me.

How could you pass it up at $1.00/yard. Sounds like a great investment to me. I've had a little guilt about my stash but I've been using it quite a bit lately. Good decision.

I've had a chance to look at all of the fabric that I picked up yesterday, put colors together for a lap quilt and also picked the pattern. Will wait until after the 4 that are on list and then it will be started. Had thought about going back in today to get some more but changed my mind because was afraid would get into town and there wasn't any left and didn't want the disappointment after yesterday.
