(Which is actually a 48 x 50 lap size quilt with room to grow.)
Do I: 1. Applique the tigers onto the corner squares and have it quilted edge to edge? (because there's not many places now to highlight custom quilting) 2. Or leave the tiger circles off, so there's a place for some special quilting and have it custom quilted. I like the tigers, but it will last longer with special quilting in those squares rather than appliques right? Do you see the tiger in the center more with the tigers outside as well or not? Is it more balanced with the white circles (appliqued tigers) or without? It's purple and gold with a little black and white - what color would you quilt it with? If custom quilting - I think I would want diamond grid in the center and something adding movement to the pinwheels. No idea about corners except maybe fleur de lis with gold thread? ALMOST DONE!!! p.s. sorry pictures aren't great - it's hanging on a rounded wall and kind of blurry... I like it with the tigers myself.

Those little tigers are very cute!

Tigers, please. Quilting? Is there a gold and white varigated thread? Gold color, not metallic. I really like varigated. I know there's purple/white one because I've used it.
