I am looking at the Janome machines - the Magnolia 7330 and the 8077. These machines are almost identical - can anyone tell me what the difference is in them - besides the price?
Thanks for all your advice. |
Don't know but I love my Janome 8077!

Check out the new Janome DC1050 I think it is. Price is about $400 and has lots and lots of stitches.Just purchased one for a friend. Light weight, easy to use. I have a bigger Janome (6600 & 11000 Memory Craft) but loved this little machine and will probably pick up one for myself in the future to travel with.

P.S. You can get a gemoney card & take up to 6 months to pay for it interest free.

Tried looking at the Janome website and the 8077 is not listed. After research, it looks like the 8077 is a model sold at stores like Hancock's but not through the Janome dealers, probably some kind of contractual thing. Probably a good machine but do you have a Janome dealer close by that you could visit and see what they have to offer. The "DC" line of machines are wonderful.

After buying my first Janome I definitely learned the value of purchasing from a Janome dealer. Makes all the difference in the world for teaching, support, & questions. Love my dealer and all their personnel - great people to work with. Hope you have the same experience.

The DC 1050 looks very much like the other two - maybe less bells and whistles. My local machine dealer does not carry the 8077 but does carry the 1050. I'll have to check it out. What I want is a machine that will be good for FM quilting in addition to my regular wardrobe sewing. Thanks everyone for your input. Y'all are great!

If anyone is interested I found the 8077 on Amazon.com
