Machine Covers

Anyone know where we can find patterns to make to cover our sewing, quilting, embroidery, serger machines and the like? If so can you share with us where to find it. Thank you.

This is just one of many. :)

I made one for my sewing machine by just measuring the height, width and length of the machine. It didn't turn out bad but the machine is in use so much, the cover is under a pile of fabric!!

I just took a reusable bag (the funky cheap fabric type trhat you buy a) and turned it upside down. You can also pull thehandles up and stitch them down. Not always cute but it it serves its purpose.

I made mine by measuring and then draping the prequilted fabric. That is one of the easiest way. Otherwise you can cut freezer paper of paper grocery bags to size. You can also make a muslin pattern. Buying patterns that I can easily make is against my economic religion.

You could find a cardboard box and trim it to fit your machine nicely, then measure the sides for pattern pieces.

Like the cardboard box idea! NOt only am I against buying patterns but don't feel like using my limited sewing time to make covers! Maybe I will feel differently when I retire.

I've used a pillow case, to cover a machine, and it fits nicely although it's a little bit too long.
