Hi,

I have been reading online tonight about embroidering on cotton fabrics and from what I have read, Kona cotton is the best. It's a higher thread count.

Just wondering if any of you have used it and found it to be differne than other quilting cottons.

Thanks...Bev

I love Kona Cottons...
Their solids are great for quilt backings and mixing in with blocks for the tops...
Muslin or broadcloth or just plain white or back cottons from JoAnns seems to thin to me to ME emb on so I use Kona Cottons...
I love 'em and they are on sale at JoAnns this weekend...

I have embroidered on any fabric...love the kona cotton at JoAnns...but I do wash it first. on sweatshirts I use the stick down stablizer. You get no wrinkles that way.

I embroider on anything. The secret is the stabilizer. GiGi :D :D :D
