There is a 4x6 inch hoop available for this machine, I looked it up on the Brother Sewing.com

The 4x6 hoop is a hoop that you need to split the designs. You sew out one area, then after that area is done, you turn and sew out the remaining area.

i was SO happytoget out of buying the "mistake from e-bay ! &shocked that i could ! esp since ifound out thatthe mother board went out on my troublesome btother! the part is$400[atleast]but decided notto ivest that much in a 12 yr old machine,even tho it's only been used 2 yrs.am going to take my time replacing itas i have a janome2010[new] to use.thnx for your interest,will let you know what i decide to get.dar
