Machine/needle help

Hi All!
I have a 13 year old Euro-Pro sewing machine that just came back from the repair man last night. I got it out this afternoon to work on ornaments and the needle placement is off center (it's to the left). I've looked through the manual and can't find how to get it back to the center so I can use my 1/4" foot! Please help! This is driving me batty!!
Thank you!!

Just a thought -- my Janome adjusts the needle into center position when I turn it on.

when all else fails, call the repairman. Hope you get it!

Thanks! I figured it out but after breaking 2 needles in 15 minutes I gave up. In 20 years of sewing I've never broken a needle! I'm calling tomorrow!

My Bernina has a button you push to move the needle from left or right.Do you have a button?

No button for that:-/ I figured the needle position problem out but then started breaking needles so I gave up for the night. I switched to my daughter's machine and started having bobbin trouble. I guess I wasn't meant to sew
tonight:-( I guess I'll try again tomorrow night...

Is it set to stitch a fancy stitch, and you have a straight foot/plate on? Most decorative stitches start with the needle to the left.

I find most of my machines centre on switching the machine on. We switch on so e daily was forget this simple move as the machine clicks into position.

Sorry I can't help -- hopefully you have been able to call the repair person to get it taken care of. That is so aggravating to not be able to sew when you are in the mood and raring to go! Guess that is when you sit down with a good book and a cup of cocoa and relax.
