I think the "practice, practice, practice" is for everything!! It took LOTS of practice to get that 1/4" seam thingie down.... :lol:

Practice, practice, practice is definitely the key. You can't expect to paint like Michelangelo on your first painting and you shouldn't expect to quilt like Sharon Schamber on your first quilt. I have really enjoyed my 9" machine on a B-Line Studio frame and I'm sure I'll enjoy my Voyager 17 on a Pro-Flex frame. I may never get really good at this but I sure enjoy learning.

Yes. Mine is a Juki. I loved quilting with it alone but adore quilting on it with a frame.
