I have a lot of thread I used with my longarm. I no longer have the longarm but thought I might be able to use the thread. Can it be used for anything else?

I would think it could be used for piecing.

You should be able to use your large spools for both machine and hand sewing. You could get one of those stand-alone spool holders for a regular machine. They sell one at Joann's Fabrics.

You should be able to use it for all of your sewing. I know I do!

If the thread is cotton I think it'd be fine for all your quilting (piecing/quilting) on your regular machine. The only other thread I use is rayon for my embroidery.
