I have a question: What do you think of Janome machines? The Janome 3/4 compact size 1017 in particular. I'm thinking of getting a light-weight machine so I can take some quilting classes. I don't want to transport my Bernina all the time. Would this be a good one for that? What would you recommend? Any input will be appreciated. Thanks, Judy

I have the 3022, and the 6600....I tote around my 3022 in the kid's scrapbook tote w/wheels and it travels great!:)My quilter friend has the 750 Gem to take to classes and it is good too:)I say if you can lift it, and stuff it in a tote to carry or w/wheels...it is a good thing:)And,no, I'd never take my 6600...too heavy:)Skeat
