yes, they look dirty , but they still work great. I hand washed mine and they still look dirty.

I have them. I love them. Along with their incredible aid for FMQing, I find the tightness of them are quite soothing. Perhaps a bit massage like? And like you wonder just how I did any FMQing without them!

Yes, I have had the itch from them when wearing them a lot, but I have sensitive skin, so no surprise with all the elastic, spandex or WHY. A good hand cream gets me through that, and I just carry on.

Washing time .... I just put them on my paws and wash with soap and water, making sure to rinse good. Lay flat to dry.

I am so glad they were invented because I really can't quilt without them. I have Machingers, and a couple of other brands and love them all. They look a little dingy but work great.

Right now I'm using lots of hand cream as my hands are wintery rough.

Okay, so glad to know I'm not the weird one and having itchy hands after using them.

I read somewhere either on the package or on Amazon that the best way to get rid of the stains is to use an oil soap? I'm working on my FMQ'ing with some deep red fat quarters I thought I was going to find a use for but then realized they weren't the right shades, so I'm sure I'm going to end up with pink fingertips. Might not be a bad thing, lol

Machingers aren't expensive at all. I usually find them on sale. The cheapest I have found them was at Tuesday Mornings for $1.99 a pair. I like them because they fit like second skin, not loose or floppy.

WOW!!! Wish I could be so lucky.

You never know what will be at Tuesday Morning store. Right now the stock is super low for most items but it's slowly coming back. I did fine a nice jelly roll of Robert Kauffman neutrals for $1l.98 last week. The store is about three miles from me so its a natural stopping point when I'm out.
