I won a $10 gift certificate in the Oct Fab Shop Hop at http://www.baysidequilting.com/
I was thinking about getting the Machingers Quilting Gloves or the Insul-Bright 36x45 Has anyone tried the gloves? What do you think? I've got till Dec 15 to decide |
Congratulations FancyFoot! Isn't it fun to win? Bayside Quilting is my LQS here in Olympia. It's really a nice shop. I haven't tried the Machingers gloves, but I do use the Fons and Porter machine quilting gloves. I wouldn't be without them. I'll have to look into the Machingers. I like the idea of the wrist support.

How strange, just tonight I was looking on the net for quilting gloves here in the UK, and was wondering what people thought of them.
If anybody in the UK have bought them could they let me know where from, the Cottonpatch shop seems to have the best price. Katherine |

Katherine I don't know, I'm just lookin to spend my Fab Shop Hop $10 certificate winnings at Bayside Quilting & those are the only ones that are available there. |
LOVE THEM! Couldn't machine quilt without them.

I prefer the gloves that are cotton with the small rubber dots on the palm side to the Machingers. These don't get hot, which my hands usually do in gloves. I googled "quilting gloves" and saw a pair like mine, but were only offered as "quilting gloves" without a specific name for them. I hope this helps.

I really like my machingers and I have sweaty hands but they don't seem to sweat in them.
