For those of you who don't know what a Magic Pinwheel is: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-57130-1.htm

So I'm making mine. I have my charm squares sewn together and bordered. I'm getting ready to cut with my 3.5" ruler. When I saw this demo-ed, the lady used one of those tiny Olfa rotary cutters. I have a 45 mm. So I'm wondering, for those of you who have made one, does it matter if I'm using my regular 45 mm or should I get smaller rotary cutter?

I could see it being a little easier with the tiny cutter, but I'm wondering if it goes into the "you must have" or "slightly easier but no big deal" category. Like when I was learning how to make something out of Perler beads and I asked if I had to have the peg board and everyone said "get the pegboard!"

Thanks!

Smaller cutters are a must for cutting some curves
I go by thickness as to which cutter I use for straight lines. :D:D:D

I bought the little cutter...I just could not do it with the bigger ones. I got it 50% off at Hancocks and it was less than 10 bucks. Good Luck can't wait to see your project.

I use the little cutter for a lot of projects. It does make it easier to cut and stop at the end of your ruler, then turn the corner.
