Make a Blanket Day Feb 18
 

Saturday,February 18 is Project Linus's "Make a Blanket Day. We are going to ask people from our church, quilters or not, to come make a blanket that day for Project Linus. We have many quilters in our group, but we also have those that crochet and knit, and ANYONE can do a tied fleece blanket. What can YOU do for "Make a Blanket" day?

Our local chapter of Project Linus has a Make a Blanket day every February at our local library. Everyone is welcome.
Usually the Girl Scout troops help out as well. It's fun working together for such a good cause.

We make blankets at our church on the first Thursday of the month. But with a little encouragement maybe everyone will be inspired to make one on the 18th as well. Love this idea. Thanks for posting.

As a Project Linus chapter coordinator, thank you from the bottm of my heart. My local church sew every Friday for charity, mostly the homeless and Linus. Our guild also does a February blanket day.
