Have you ever made something as a gift, but loved it so much you found it hard to give away?

Always! I always seem to like what I make for others more than some of the items I make for myself.

Two quilts come to mind...a double wedding ring and a 40th Birthday one for a friend.

Yes, my 1st quilt. Giving it away was so hard for me to do.

Most item I make are given away. Most items I make I want to keep. It is hard to let go. I only hope my hard work and the love put into making it will be appreciated.

That is funny!!

I always give everything away too, i start by making it for myself but end up by giving it away..That is a good thing right, that you are giving something you really love, made with love too?

Yes. Sometimes I get attached to it while I am making it. I just want to make sure it's going to a good home.
