Yesterday I received a PM from a QB member looking for a quilting buddy. She had PMed DebbieU and Debbie noticed that she was from Bakersfield and suggested she contact me. Her screen name is RobertaMarie and she mention that she belonged to our local Guild so I PMed back and told her that if she still active and was going to the next meeting, maybe we could meet for lunch first. I explained that I was nominated to be the next 1st VP of the Guild and that my SIL (gramma mo) was nominated for 2nd VP.

She PMed back to say that she recalled meeting us at last months meeting after our names were announced. So she had a face to put with the names! She is currently helping with Membership and has held MANY offices in the Guild over the years.

What a small world this is! This morning I discovered that our soon to be Guild President is also a member of the QB. Missed knowing it because she doesn't list Bakersfield as her location. Her screen name is Jupiter!

Sew much fun to find local QB members!!!

Seriously, Now the whole Guild board is on the board. LOL
So glad you all found each other. On My Granbury Guild, Quiltdoctor, Joanieu, and I are members and on my Weatherford guild, so far, Joanieu and Grannyp70, quiltin tyme, shawnna, and me and knitty kitty. Nanda is going to be siging up soon.
