Making a quilt for a Neighbour
Neighbour had a heart attack this morning. His wife (my friend) gave him a quilt kit for Christmas and promised that it would be made for next Christmas. However, I think he might just appreciate it now. I offered to make it if she could bring it over tomorrow. From what I remember it is a panel with borders so shouldn't be too time consuming. It's flannels so wish me luck.
I should be purging and packing for my move in March. Takes a lot of time to sort 42 years worth of stuff... |
What a kind & compassionate friend you are to your neighbor. I'm so sorry to hear about her husband & pray that he will overcome the heart attack with no lingering effects. I think the both of them would appreciate the fact that you have offered to make the quilt for him. Thank you for your kindness.

What a wonderful friend you are!
I wouldn't worry about using flannel. It's so nice to work with! I hope you show us the finished quilt. |
How kind of you ... it'll be sure to "Brighten" his recovery.
(Yes, pun intended!!) |
Yes, what a thoughtful and wonderful neighbor indeed. I’m sure it will be very much appreciated and I hope his recovery is a healthy one. It’s always nice to hear that there are acts of kindness still lingering about in this world of hustle and bustle, especially when you already have so much going on in your own life. Thank you suzzyQ

Such kindness is humbling to me. I am sure he will appreciate the efforts. To take the time out of such a busy time, while packing a move is more than a kind effort, it is an act of love. Thank you for sharing.
