You really need to go to Quiltville.com and let Bonnie show you what a mish mash of fabric looks like. I, also do not like a quilt made with just a few fabrics and scrappy is my choice. Some of mine have a constant and some don't. I love the artistic freedom you get from scrappy. My favs are when you do a red scrappy or blue scrappy, love the focus colors.
