I will try to attach the t-shirt quilt I made for my granddaughter.
Because she had so many different sizes of shirts, I only put sashing between the rows of sweatshirts. I did use iron on stabilizer on the t-shirts to make them more manageable. T-shirt back [ATTACH=CONFIG]196799[/ATTACH] |

Use a very filmy stabilizer for the backs of each t-shirt you want in the quilt - it will not make it "stiff" but it will give it body to help the quilt hold it's shape..

You need to use a fusible woven interfacing to stabilize the t-shirts. I am so sorry to hear of this tragic loss. Good luck with this quilt, and please post pictures of it when it is done.

How about using his jeans for the backing?
