I know this has been discussed before and I have even done it, but for the life of me I can't figure out which program to use to turn a color picture into b&w. I have windows 7 and I thought I did it with paint. Can anyone help me please. I am unable to take b&w pics with my camera

Thanks.

I use Picaso program for my pictures. It is free and easy to use. It allows you to print change your colored pictures into black and white, and also different colorings such as sepia, or intense colors, etc. check it out.

Until someone more knowledgable shows up, I think you do it on the print page. And here she comes.

I have to use whatever photo editing program is on the computer. Click on your picture and the right click and it will say "Open with" and it should show a photo program to choose from. Click on one and then in that program it will have a menu called, " Change to grayscale or black and white". Hope that helps;)

When you go to print change the printer settings to grayscale and that should do it.

After you've changed it, save the grayscale version.
If DH is available, I take a picture and change it. I look at the new picture on my monitor and if I don't like something I rearrange my fabric and take another picture. When I'm happy I delete the others.

the easiest way is to go into your print properties when you click print and change the picture to grayscale or black and white.

thank you everyone for your help. That is what I will do and then save it to my computer.

Well I don't have that option in my printer setup. I re-formatted my hard drive and re-installed my programs, but for the life of me I can not think of what I used to do that with.
