Have you checked out the promotions to his new online quilting show? I plan to be there. You can see it at:

http://quiltoutloud.com/

While you are there, go to the home page of QNNtv.com. For a reasonable membership fee you can view hundred of quitnig videos like Fons and Porter, Quilt in a Day, Sewing with Nancy and lots more. I started watching last night and before I knew it was past midnight, therefore I am very tired today. OK, I don't recommend you do that, but if you pace yourself you can enjoy it.

I have watched QNNTV since it was free. Fons and Porter bought the site so it now costs 24 dollars a year. It is worth the money till you have watched all the videos. That takes a very long time since they have so many.
It took awhile but it is now full screen so if you have a big monitor it is like watching TV.
You can download the videos to your computer also. But that takes up alot of space. Sewing with Nancy had the best video for Scrap Happy Quilts and the book is no longer available so I downloaded the video.
http://quilterstv.com is still free. It dosnt have as many videos and it is not full screen but it does show different ones than qnntv. You can also download from that site.

My dialup internet is cheap, but I miss out on all these!

I know high speed is expensive but it is worth it if you are new at quilting and need the instructional videos.
Local quilt shop classes are way to expensive for me so the videos have givin me the instructions that I needed.
Also you learn the best and easiest methods. I have learned a wealth of info. from watching on line.
The best has been Quilt in a Day and Sewing With Nancy. Most of the others do things the hard way. I also like Billi Lauder.
I watch all of them and that is alot of videos but since I am retired I have the time.

Will have to check these out when I am at a wireless location! Don't even try at home with my dial up, which I keep because it is very reasonable!

Thanks for posting this Maride, it looks like it will be a fun and different venue for a quilting show :D

I too was a dial-up holdout...until I started checking around & discovered that, for me, and for what I do online, dsl was WAY cheaper! I don't have the fastest one, but at least I can watch online videos, etc now. :D

Thanks for the link Maride :D:D

I really enjoy QNNTV. It's worth the money to me. I have had it since the beginning and haven't watched all the videos yet. If you need free quilt videos go here:

http://www.quilterstv.com/

QIAD has free videos too.
