Looking for a good marking pen/pencil for marking fabric to sew quilt together. Any suggestions?? The ones I have don't work that well. Thanks

Careful with the frixon pens they do disappear when friction is used ironing and that but they will show back up if in a cold place. I bought some and discovered it will not work for a car quilt as I tried and after just a minute in the cold the pen marks came back.

just using standard marking colored pencils but they don't glide easy on quilt when I'm trying to mark my quiling lines with my ruler.

Try using Berol - either white or silver and it does wash out first time it is washed.

If it's something you'll wash, Crayola washable markers work pretty well. I have read there are some colors that don't wash out as well as others, green and yellow if I remember right. I used the one with the pale pink cap and it totally washed out.

General's Pastel Chalk (a pencil with chalk in it instead of lead) in Dark Grey that I purchased from my LQS.
