I first purchesed a rotery cutter a few years ago and was disappointed with the blades not being any better than the regular blades. Then this year at Road to California I complained about them and was told I needed their mat. They are expensive so I had to come home and save up for it but they told me I could have the show price, just mention at the show they said they would give me the same price. I finally got mine in June. Well it is true, I've been cutting with the same blade since then. I have not had any problem with the mat slipping. You do need to get the feel with less pressure on the blade. Anyway glad you got the mat because I love mine!
