Marti Mitchel Kaleidoscope ruler

Thinking of buying a Marti Mitchel Kaleidoscope ruler. She uses it for a two color type kaleidoscope and I want to use it with one large print fabric and will be making an octagon. Is this a good ruler to use for this type of kaleidoscope quilt and can it also be used for a stack and whack without making the smaller triangeles for the corners. Thank you

go for it. You should enjoy it. sounds like it will be very useful.

Not sure exactly what the question is, but if you're wondering whether this ruler can be used for a OBW with 6-sided blocks, no corner pieces required, the answer is no, it does not have a 60 degree angle. I like the Clearview triangle ruler for OBW's.

If this is something that you would enjoy making, go ahead and treat yourself. I have THREE 60 degree triangles and not one of them is the same.
