I'd use it on the back of the quilt if I really did not want to cut it apart.

Love Charley Harper fabric! I think that's what you have there. I would probably use it on the back too...hard to cut it up.
but here are a few ideas that might inspire: if you like a more modern quilt https://birchfabrics.com/tutorial-ch...baby-quilt-by/ https://materialgirlquilts.com/blog/...t-and-tutorial a tote https://birchfabrics.com/tutorial-ch...uick-sew-tote/ a dress or apron https://birchfabrics.com/free-chicka...df-pattern-by/ and....down the rabbit hole: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=projects+f...ages&ia=images and pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/search/pin...arp&etslf=6372 https://www.pinterest.com/pin/308848486947237558/ anything you do will be awesome! :) |
When I have a fabric I just can't cut or the design needs to stay whole, I make the fat quarter bag. I use yardage or fat quarters. It will get used and gets lots of attention from everyone who sees it. It's great for carrying big quilts or anything that needs bigger then a tote bag. https://www.favequilts.com/Bags-Purs...rom-Martingale
It is an old pattern published by Martingale and was free on the website. Since Martingale is no longer in business many online sites have the download pdf. |
