Where did you see that they come in 1/8 inch? The ones coming up on google search are the 1/4 inch.

I challenge anyone to find these on the internet. Marry Js website is no longer available. Ebay doesn't have them anymore, Joann online doesn't have them, no other retailer shows up as having them,Amazon doesn't have them, although they have a picture that comes up on screen and nothing else. So if anyone can find them and the elusive 1/8 inch mentioned, please let us know. Thank you

I found mine on Shoppers Rule. They are great. |
The ones sold at Joanns are the small lift up thread scissors for needlework. Shoppers Rule found 200 of the Merry J's and that is all they have. These scissors are very good quality, the price of $8 is clearance priced to sell. I have four quilting gifts to buy for Christmas this year. Can't beat the unusual and rare gift like these scissors. Thank you cwcquilter for the place to buy, my shopping is done.

Exactly what do you use them for? Clipping seams?

Clipping the edges of say, appliance pieces, then turn under the edges, where you Clipped. Anxious to try it. |

My original post was incorrect. What I meant to say was "applique", not appliance.
Was trying to talk to GS at the same time. I should know I can't do two things at once. LOL |
I bought them at Shopper's Rule. Only $10.36 with parcel post shipping. I found them elsewhere but they were $24.95 plus shipping.
I think they will work great for clothes patterns too, cutting notches without clipping past the seam allowance. |
