In about five weeks, I will be moving from Ohio to Chestertown,
Maryland. I am wondering if anyone may have information, about
quilting activities in that area. Fellow quilters, quilting groups or guilds etc. I will appreciate any information that anyone may have for me. Thank you, Kaye Salverda

Sorry I can't help with guilds or activities but there is a very nice LQS in Dagsboro, DE. Not really sure how far it is from Chestertown but I do know there are not many in that area. I go to Ocean City, MD at least once a year and usually try to stop in the shop. Sorry, also don't remember the name but I'm sure you could google it. They do carry a lot of homespun but also other fabrics, good quality and reasonable prices. I do know they give guild discounts so I'm sure they could point you in the right direction. Good luck with your move.

Welcome to the Eastern Shore!. I'm a little further southeast, but I think Peggy's quilt shop in Centreville, Md could probably help you out. It is only about 15 miles from Chestertown and the people there are warm and welcoming! The phone numbers are 410-758-3827 and 800-643-7775 and I'm sure she has all the info you would need about local groups!
