That's a great idea! The quilt I'm making has 25 squares on the top, each done by a different person, for a baby quilt. The one lone square on the back has the baby's name, dob, etc. If I can figure out how to post pictures, I will.

another way would be to use water soluble thread. Hand baste along the stitching lines, everything will stay lined up and the thread washes away. :D:D:D

One sure-fire way would be the quilt as you go method.
