When I sew material say for the handle of a purse, you sew that inside out. There is a tool you can buy to pull the material back throught right side out. Does anyone know what the name of this tool is. My fingers are sore. Thanks

You can make your own as well. Sometimes all you need is to attach a large safety pin to one edge then work the pin through. Or ... you can thread a long crochet hook through the tube, hook onto the safety pin, then pull them both through.

I find that sewing together two strips of bias strips is easier than turning a handle. I add fusible pellon batting or stabilizer to the back side of fabric and then make the folds. sew the two strips together. Much easier and a nicer finished look.

Bodkin (?).
Doesn't that do the same thing?

I only even know the name because I just found one in a box of notions I inherited when a friend passed (she was a former mgr of a Joann's so you can imagine - every freaking notion they ever sold).

I use a medical clamp.

I have seen it called a fabric turner or a tube turner or a bodkin

There is another way to do the handles - that does not involve turning inside out. I have used this for most of my totes and purses. All involves top stitching.
