Memory quilt help

What do you attach to T-shirts before sewing them. Can they be quilted by a logarmmer. This is my first memory quilt for my grand daughter. I need all the help I can get. Thank you mary r

I use Pellon 906F, and yes, they can be quilted by a longarmer. Search "tshirt quilt" and you'll find a wealth of information here. Good luck!

Use an iron on stabilizer (lightweight, fusible stabilizer) available at stores like Joanne fabrics....it keeps the T-shirt fabric from stretching out of shape while you stitch your blocks.... And longarm quilters do T-shirt quilts too...there are tons of tutorials on making T-shirt quilts to help you with this process.

I always used the very lightweight Pellon that is fusible that is available at JAF. Fuse it on before you cut your the area from the T-shirt.
