There is a Marine Mom looking for someone to make her a memory quilt. I told her it would be costly and she is ok with that.
Anyone able to make one? I KNOW I am not experienced enough to even begin to even think about doing one. She is in Paris Tn. |
I feel like a beginner also, when I see all the great work here. I hope someone is able to do it for her.

I would be happy to do it. Check your PM's.

I made 4 memory quilts for my boss' wife. Her best friend was a nurse, and she wanted a quilt from the scrub tops. If you do end up making it, Elizabeth, there are so many ways to go. I just thought you might like to see what I came up with. At first I didn't know what to do with so many wild and varied fabrics. |
Thanks for sharing the photos, I know there are just so many different ways to go. :D I've made two doubles (see my avatar for one of them), a twin, three wallhangings, and 7 pillows that were all using memory clothing.
I think it's really about what she would like and what kind of person her child was. I'm simply delighted to have the aid of my embroidery machine this time. |
quiltmaker if you send me your info I will pass it on to the Mom.
