Yep, I would want the same as a house. As much control of humidity etc. as possible. You'll be in there an awful lot. Maybe hubby too.

I'm in the basement and trying to decide the same thing. I hate the concrete walls and would love to have it framed out and dry walled. The basement is cool, dry and I do have a heater under my desk for those days when it's a little too cool. A whole separate space is wonderful though and I'm grateful for the space. I would think you would want to dry wall the interior and paint it a beautiful calming color. Lucky you!

I have one end of a metal building, totally heated and ac as well. There is 4" insulation with the plastic backing. I had peg board panels made to fit the 8' height to the girder (?) Not sure what that iron is called. I do not have enough plug in's. It's amazing all the items that need electricity. Our outside temps range from -17 winter to 110 summer so the insulation is needed. Ceiling has 6" insulation. I share the building with my husbands business.

Metal building won't work were it is cold. My Dad had one in Prescott AZ. and It collected moisture in the cold.
