Metal license plate

Thanks to a 6 point buck I now have a new car and would like a quilt themed front license plate. Any suggestions where to get one? WordPress.com has lots of cute ones but they are ALL "temporarily out of stock". I had it on my Christmas list but didn't realize they were unavailable. Willing to wait rather than get something now.

Be sure that your state allows you to do that.

I think you will be okay if your license plate frame doesn't obstruct any of the numbers, letters or stickers on the plate. That's what the states are concerned about.

You can put a picture plate on the front of the car. It's the back plate that can't be changed but the frame for the back plate can be customized.

Every state is different. Check your state regs.

Indiana only requires a plate on the back, so the front plate can be just about anything you want it to be! I would check in the malls for an airbrush artist who can create one for you.....so many options!

Glad you're not hurt in the accident. That's scary. I once had a small deer run into my driver's door, and it was incredible the amount of damage it did, from the front headlight to the rear panel of a minivan. I couldn't even open my door.

The 19 states that require only the rear license plate are:
  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Arizona
  • Delaware
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Indiana
  • Kansas
  • Kentucky
  • Louisiana
  • Michigan
  • Mississippi
  • New Mexico
  • North Carolina
  • Oklahoma
  • Pennsylvania
  • South Carolina
  • Tennessee
  • West Virginia

Thanks everybody! I know I can have a front plate legally and I'm wanting a plate with quilting design (not a frame) which is part of the lack of problem. Not many choices that I've found so far...
