If it works for you, that's great. However, it says right on the Sharpie packaging - not for fabric. I would never use sharpie if it's meant to last. Plus they don't draw a clean line, they spread.

I love my pigma pens, and always heat set them. Now if I could just remember where i put them LOL

I didn't know they were supposed to be heat set either, and the ink bled all over the place.

And this was where the ink had been on the fabric for over a month before I washed it.

I wrote to the company, and I was told - oh, those aren't for fabric - - - -

what the? they are sold in many fabric stores - when I told the people in the fabric stores that the ink ran, I wasn't believed.

I've used pigma pens for years with no problems.. I don't use Sharpies because they are not archival.. Pigma are. Sharpies will eventually "eat" the fabric. Pigma pens are designed to Not harm the substance written on. I have also used Zig pens which are archival also.
